Partnerships
Local Public Review considers collaborations that fit its focus on shared places and local public life. We accept a limited range of clearly identified partner placements, while keeping independent editorial decisions separate.
Suitable collaborations
A good fit may include a relevant cultural or community project, a reader resource connected to shared places, or a clearly bounded collaboration that offers useful context. We consider the subject, audience, presentation and any relevant relationship before agreeing. We do not promise coverage as part of a partnership.
Clear labelling
Partner-created material and partner placements are labelled in plain language. Their presence does not signal endorsement of every claim or activity, and they remain distinct from independent editorial work. Partners cannot require changes to unrelated coverage or present a placement as an independent review.
Starting a conversation
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Describe the idea, the proposed contribution or placement, its intended audience and any relevant commercial relationship. We may decline proposals that do not suit the publication’s subject or standards.
A place is more than its buildings.
Look at how people meet, pause and take part, and the character of a place begins to show.
